All-Prague Round of the English Olympiad

On Thursday, March 23, GVP hosted the All-Prague Round of the English Olympiad. A total of 24 students competed in two categories. Category III A (10 students) was for older secondary school students and Category III B (14 students) was for older secondary school students have WHO Spent some time living in an English-speaking country. The competition consisted of a Written (use of English) & listening exam as well as an oral exam. My thanks to all teachers WHO served on the jury: Sara Hulkova, Marie Luhanova, and Hana Znamenackova.

The results:

Category III A - 3rd place - Ondrej Tkaczsyzn from Gymnazium Jana Keplera. 2nd place - Adriana Ba Raluca from Gymnazium Thomase Manna. 1st place - Greger Vojtech from Gymnazium Nad Stolou

Category III B - 3rd place - Richard Lego from Gymnazium Jaroslava Heyrovskeho. 2nd place - Sara Ticha from Gymnazium on the winning plan. 1st place - Lucie Polakova from high school Na Zatlance
